According to The Guardian newspaper iphone applications are the fastest growing and most popular technological innovations ever. There are now well over 25,000 iphone applications available, many of which are free of charge. This breakthrough has reinforced the iphone as the world's leading smart phone. Even Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple, has expressed his
surprize at the staggering success of iphone applications claiming "I've never seen anything like this in my career in software."

Flash Compatible iphones coming soon?
The CEO of Adobe, Shantanu Narayen, has confirmed that his company are working with Apple to create an iphone which is cabible of running
Flash software. The iphones lack of Flash support previously resulted in an Apple iphone commercial being pulled off the air on the grounds
that it was misleading. If the iphone becomes Flash compatible then it means that users would be able to browse more dynamic, graphically rich
web content. However, with the receont success of iphone applications there are rumours that Apple are now less reluctant to integrate
Flash capability that they might have otherwise been.
